What's this all about? Inspired by content such as 'missed connections', newspaper classifieds and the like, we decided to put together a site where you could record your stories of 'the one that got away' (or maybe nearly got away!).Be it a fleeting glimpse on a crowded street, lingering looks over a latte or flirtatious moments on public transport, we've all seen somebody and thought 'wow they are gorgeous' but not had the opportunity or perhaps the bravery to approach them and say 'hi'. If you've ever had that experience, you can tell your stories here and even upload a photo of the occasion if you were lucky, brave or creepy enough to have grabbed one!
Membership is free, and members can add their own photo, add stories, make comments on existing stories (or maybe even add some clues to your mystery person's identity!) and view other member information.

Q. Why have you got adverts?
A. Registration to the site is free so we need to help cover hosting costs somehow. Hence the ads. Hopefully they are not too intrusive!
Q. Beta?
A. Yeah, it's a bit of a web 2.0 cliche, but we've launched pretty quickly after starting development so there may be some issues remaining - hence launching in Beta ;-)
